A|X Armani Exchange wanted to engage consumers and let them create their own t-shirt designs in line with their graffiti theme.

Brief
With a series of special Thank You shows planned for later in the year for key workers, The SSE Arena Wembley wanted to allow the community to show their gratitude to the nation’s key workers
Having worked with Noonah before, the SSE Arena Wembley reached out to see what we could do on this special project to bring the community together.
Solution
To allow the community to show their gratitude we suggested our virtual photo mosaic to allow the users to become part of a bigger picture.
It was decided to have multiple ways to allow people to partake. These were via user uploads, social media hashtags, and also a virtual photo booth. To achieve this a custom microsite was designed and built that allowed the users to choose how to submit their images. The same website would also host the completed mosaic after the submission period had expired.
For the virtual photo booth we implemented our AI background removal to place the users onto the stage in the arena.

Results
The custom website was hosted for two weeks where we received a great response with a wide variety of images including selfies, drawings and lots of rainbows via all the different upload methods.
At the end of the two weeks the images were modified and collated into the final mosaic which was then added to the microsite with ability for users to zoom in closer to see themselves.
The final output will also be printed and added to the front doors of the arena when it re-opens as well as select images and the mosaic being displayed on the big screen during the concerts.
